Devils @ Stingrays - 16/2/13

So the Devils head to the “most versatile arena in the UK” this Saturday to face Hull Stingrays. This is the 5th meeting between the two teams (League and Cup) with the Stingray’s currently leading the series 3-1. The Devils seem have struggled vs Bowns in the Hull net at times so a big performance is required to get the 2 points from this game.

The Stingrays have had a very mixed season with some big wins then some interesting defeats to say the least which see’s them bottom of the league despite having one of the top snipers in the Elite League in Jereme Tendler on 37 Goals and 21 Assists for 58 points backed up by Ex-  devil Jason Silverthorn on 17 Goals, 33 assists for 50 points.

The Devils will be without Mac Faulkner and Phil Hill while Chris Jones has stepped up from the NIHL1 Devils and Callum Buglass steps up from the U18's.

News broke last night of a 2 way deal for Peterborough Phantoms forward Luke Ferrera but as yet its not 100% if he will be in the line-up this weekend. There is also still the possibly an import could be in by the deadline at midnight tonight. Lots of paperwork to sort but hopefully this will be finalized for the weekend.
