It is with regret that the Sheffield Steelers confirm that they have had to call in liquidators to one of their associated companies, Yorkshire Sports
These actions are being taken to ensure that the future of the Steelers is not affected going forward into next season and beyond. Season ticket holders can rest assured that their monies have been ring fenced prior to the start of the season and all season tickets are fully protected and will be honoured. This will not have any adverse affect whatsoever on season ticket holders.

I've been asked to remove this thread and comments. You can guess who by. Rather than take flak which I'm really not in the mood for at the moment I've removed the comments (sorry Finny and Jono) and I'll lock the thread. I'll leave the link to the news article though. Make of it / read into it what you will. If anyone else starts a thread on the topic I'm sorry but I will have to mod it.
