Trouble in Belfast

I heard today that there was some trouble in Belfast following the Giants recent home loss to the Blaze. Allegedly both the ref and Adam Calder were hit/punched by Giants fans. Anyone have any information about this. If this is proved to be the case then I hope serious punishments/penalties are handed to the Giants as this type of thing can have no place in the game we love.

That is the article about Hicks being punched. It has been said that the same fan/group of fans also hit a couple of the Blaze players and that Calder reacted by swinging his stick back at them but nothing has been formally mentioned about that.

To be honest, you can't blame the Giants for having some idiot fans and most rinks allow the fans to get very close to the players so it was just one of those things IMHO.
