Absolutely dominant performance tonight. I’d love to have got a couple more in the third to rub it in, but you can’t have everything! We need to find some consistency now, make sure there’s no let up week in, week out. If we do that we’re contenders but that’s been the difficulty though so far. Onwards and upwards!!
Awesome performance from the Devils. The interesting thing is that I think this was the Devils best defensive performance yet and we scored 5 goals. Maybe that is where we have been going wrong. Normally we are all offense, don't score and then leave gaps at the back. But Steelers have the same weakness. They are a very offensive team and defense has always been their achilles heel. All 5 Devils players protected Carruth and then exploited Steelers holes at the back. We have the speed to play on the break.
I thought Crandalls goal was a beauty and McNally had another great game but this was an all round great team peformance. Well done Devils. Let this be the turning point.
