Don't think the fans have taken to Barrasso. A lot of "Barrasso out" comments flying round social media after recent results and a lot of fans thought it was unprofessional not turning up for media duty. Might just be a case of great players don't always make great coaches.
What do they expect? Thommo culled a load of players last season which was bound to weaken the team, at the same time most other EIHL teams have been building on last season. With so many changes in one season the Steelers should have chalked this one off for rebuilding.

Most level headed fans would write off the next few years to rebuild. However Steelers fans don’t always do level headed. Doesn’t help with the club using tag lines like “number 1 team in Britain”.

You like at Sheffields & the panthers mess and you realise how good life as a Devils fan is at the minute.

So Sheffield release a shed load of players last season because they under performed, sign new players, sack them then re-sign the old players................................... anyone else confused?

you'd think with one of the highest wage budgets they would have recruited better players and we all said before a puck was dropped they looked weak. for me whistle isnt good enough in net, they're defenceman were poor and small and their forwards never looked like they would score loads. nothing about them looked like they would compete with that roster.

its great aint it

It's going to be rapid recruitment and tactics change to secure a playoff berth. Far too late for a league challenge this year.
