Ex Cardiff netminder Martin Clarkson has been called up for All Star duty in the AJHL.
The game is being played on 25th January and will be well attended by scouts.

I'd like to wish him good luck for the game and with any luck he will be given the nod to start the game.

Was this why he wasn't picked for GB Under 20's because he usually plays for GB doesn't he?

He was actually selected for GB but as he is having such an awesome season, he chose to turn GB down for the sake of his potential career. It would mean missing some big games.

Ah right, I did wonder how the others had been picked over him. Probably the best decision for him anyway, he's going to have more chance at being noticed over there.

All of the above i think. And they get NHL scouts looking too.
As far as i'm aware Martin is currently getting offers from Div 1 & 3 college teams but is just
waiting for the best one.
