skate with the devils

just heard that they are charging 4 quid to skate with the devils.......... WHY........
This would appeal to younger fans and 4 pound seems a bit steep. is it just me being tight ??

point taken about the skate price etc but didnt they do it free last season after a game... also Idont skate but my kids do. can i pay a spectator fee ?

Agreed.

£4 per child is bargain.

That will cover the cost of turning the lights on, the heating on, paying staff, cleaning the loos (well, thats a dubious claim) and having food available for those bottomless pits called children.

Yes - you can pay a spectator fee. Its about £3.

Just re-read the detail of the news article. What a nice way to make up for the lack of game on that Sunday, and give the fans another chance to meet the team.

I doubt this will replace the regular skate.

The turnout wasn't brilliant, but this worked well for those who did go.

The players were very friendly, and helped several people around the ice. Justin Sawyer and Phil Hill in particular were very nice.
