id love to see more teams
just did a interesting web search nothing down in stone
but theirs 3 possible new opticians
one of them a London-based consortium was previously awarded a franchise
(though it hasn't materialised yet in full). 2nd Dublin and 3rd Alreet, pet / wey aye man.


and discussions also with some lower teams, ( probably never materialise, been talk every year )

To be frank, the league needs to take any money from the sponsor and invest in the off-ice stuff: DOPS; officials; and financial management.

DOPS is a shambles with this 'no video' BS, but was awful before that.

Officials, they need support, training and more recruitment.

Finance: to avoid the whole Superleague implosion again we need to exercise some control on spending, and have consequences for breaking rules.

Sod new franchises whilst the Scottish teams are verging on leaving because of all the current issues.
 
Coventry Blaze sign Canadien defence man Andrew Nielsen. I tell you what, looks a great signing too, to be fair. Tough, hard and heavy player and some good spells and points in the AHL, in his earlier years in particular.

Can’t fault it, it’s a good sign to see the league improving most seasons, we can’t have too many entertainers, and tough hard hitters. Hopefully it’s going to be one tidy season, let’s get it on.

Absolutely - more competitive spread across the league the better as far as I’m concerned. I also just like watching good quality players every week, even if it’s on the opposition.
