First thread to sticky up for the coming few months of chaos :)

As before, a couple of other threads will be stickied for the signings and departures for the other teams, along with rumours! Anything that should be in the other threads and you post here will be deleted...

If something is confirmed and you post a reply, please include a link to the story from ICWales, Cardiffdevils.com or another team who've announced a player leaving. Nothing is confirmed until it's in writing, this goes for both signings and departures :)

I'll let some posts run in this thread, but it's this topic that will continually be updated, if posts go missing where you've posted information, it's because they've been rolled into this to update it!

After some questions last year, i've devised an amazing, although somewhat complicated key!

Imports will be in red and include (I)
Brits will be in green and include (B)
Coaches will be in blue and include (PC) or (BC) depending if they're out winning, or standing on the bench shouting...

Chris.

That was the impression I had, maybe from the news coming from one of the actual meetings?

However, following my own rules, I can't seem to find anything in print about them actually signing a contract yet?

I may be wrong, but according to Shannon during the Real Radio interview last week, G hasn't actually signed a contract for next season ( apologies if this is imcorrect )

If he hasn't yet signed this would suggest that he will.

"Wednesday at 1pm Gerad will be at Wales online [Terry Phillips Blog], to answer any question you wish to ask him, so heres your oppurtunity to ask whatever you wish."

Might be worth an asking of the "question" as PR has said one thing and Shannon another...

G also stated Lyle and Ritchie on multi year deals so will be back. Burrows to step up permanently next season.

Matt Myers got mentioned a few times too, here's hoping.

Both Myers and Jonathan Philips mentioned in webchat as players that would 'fit' - and G stated that the drop in import numbers would allow for another experienced Brit to be recruited. Well deserved future for Tim - looking forward to seeing more of him next season.

Can anyone explain why Steeltalk have listed Stuuuu as re-signed on year 2 of a 2 year deal? Nothing, (apart from in G's Q+A yesterday) has been announced about any of our players yet. :?

MBA course can be 1 or 2 years although can't ever recall the length of course our players are doing being mentioned this season. :? Got the impression it was for the 1 year.

The CBS MBA is generally a 12 month, full time course (although it does depend on how long you take on your Business Project...) Hence, if you start in September you should be finished by the start of the next hockey season....
