Hello everyone,

South Wales Samurai BHC are travelling up to Sheffield to compete in a charity tournament organised on behalf of the Sheffield Steelers very own David Simms.

Before we all lose it, take a minute to review the link: http://www.sheffieldsteelersihc.co.uk/b ... ch-p196066

We are raising money for a well known charity & hope to come away tournament champions (most importantly!)

- We are proud to be representing Cardiff up there & hope to do Wales proud!

All are welcome to come and spectate and lend some support - it's sure to be a great day out.
Just for info if anyone else is interested, most of the team are travelling up on Friday 6th, playing the tournament on the 7th, watching Sheffield v Belfast in the evening, then staying for the CC final on the Sunday night (to make a full weekend of it), hotels in the area are coming up at around £150 for 2 nights (Based on 3 people sharing a room).

If anyone is interested in taking up ball hockey (ice hockey- but on a 5-a-side court!) then feel free to get in touch with us on: southwalessamurai@gmail.com. Training sessions take place on Tuesday evenings from 19:00-21:00 just opposite the rink in Penarth leisure centre.

Equipment can be provided free of charge for those new to hockey & all abilities welcome, the sport is as fast paced and intense as it's ice cousin but without needing to learn to skate, quite a few of us are ex-rec hockey players!

See you there
~Adam
