September Player of the Month

Josh MacDonald for me with Nick Welsh a very close second.
I think we all know that we are looking light on goals this season and so a lot of responsibility for scoring will be on MacDonald's shoulders. So for me it was vital he started the season better than last - and with 4 goals already he's done that.
Welsh was close to getting my vote though. He's come into a settled D-unit but is already looking an excellent addition. Made some mistakes in pre-season but since we've gone into the competitive fixtures he seems to be looking a great asset at both ends of the ice.

Kotos unfortunately I njured he set the bar in pre season I believe 11 or 12 points so far, sacratini has settled in from day 1 and improves every game, love how he got his father's genes, after most plays will take his gumshield out and chirps at any player skating off. So like his father even stands away from blue line anthem time .
When a young local lad bursts onto the scene like Bayley has it’s a pure joy, this young man is acting and performing like a well seasoned pro, like Diablo mentions the imports come with a certain amount of experience in good leagues and with healthy cvs so we expect good things from them and rightly so. But local lads who are capable of showing they have arrived, are few and it’s been awhile now since the likes of Franny, Phillips, Myers, Davies, and Chinny etc, burst onto the scene. The more I see Bayley the more I like Bayley like most folk I reckon, it’s truly heartwarming and a breath of fresh air to see one of your own really showing that they have arrived, so it’s a no brainer for me to say and to easily say it’s Bayley Harewood for me, keep it going young man.
Whilst Harewood has been good this season and especially at the weekend just gone, just a mention that this is the September Player of the Month.

In which Harewood scored 1+1. So that might be why he wasn't an automatic pick above. He's made a good start to the October competition though.

I’m sure he’s going to be scooping up a load of these awards and others in the future.
I remember watching him over in Canada for CIHA, where he came up against Mason McTavish in one of the games. Basically they just traded goals and looked head and shoulders against everyone else.
Mason has done pretty well for himself:-
