It would be great to see the name Durham Wasps involved in British Ice hockey again but can the area sustain two teams in the current economic climate, given that the Vipers are downsizing their home arena and supposedly playing out of Whitley Bay! Are Whitley Bay Warriors still going?
That video was posted in March this year. They were saying the new ice rink will be built by December which means it should be finished in a few weeks... Anyone have any idea if this has happened in the city?
