Well got them sorted thank goodness, got to rink at 12-45am , 20 people already there and in good spirit, both fluid and mental spirits left there about 8-30am, think probably 200 people there, doors opened at 6am letting everyone in, in fairness it wasn’t much of a cold night, as last year it was bloody freezing. So happy days, just need to get there now.

Devils have posted on Facebook that they have some tickets left that can be booked over the phone today:

“We've still got around 100 tickets left for playoff weekend. We'll be here till around 12 today so either come down to the Devils office or give us a call on 07517094726 or 07841374199“

Just spoken with Todd and sorted mine

It's only £5 and the teams/league are essentially businesses trying to make ends meet and grow, but the idea of adding on unannounced additional charges is nothing short of disgusting. It's just not the Devils/EIHL who do this sort of thing of course, it is just an example of how downtrodden and disrespected consumer rights are. Sorry for the rant on what otherwise seems to be a well-organised event, but it really is poor we are expected to just accept this sort of thing.

For everybody complaining about the admin fee. Maybe it should have been mentioned but it is not unreasonable to be charged it - getting this setup in the first place, multiple staff working on saturday from early morning ie not ordinary working situation etc and they will handle the distribution too

Have not seen many, if any, complaints about the fee - only about not being advised beforehand

£5 charge only mentioned by Devils at the desk ehen it came to pay for tickets!!
Strange how we have to pay this on top of the small admin fee that the Motorpoint Arena are charging.
At least you will know for next year and can phone the Motorpoint arena directly with the other few thousand fans from all teams trying to get through.

Have just read Todd Kelmans post on the tickets.

Some of you should be embarrased.

The fee is annoying, yet everyone charges it separately. The issue is one of not being told, that could be an issue for the club if anybody is that bothered.

This is advice for consumers from Which.

”There is no standard way to calculate a service charge for particular tickets, but all compulsory fees, whether fixed or variable, must be clearly disclosed at the outset when the ticket price is first displayed“

Another issue that should’ve been handled better.

Please stop kidding yourselves you are not fooling the rest of us.
There was a service charge last year why shouldnt there be this year.
Just another example of the rats waiting in the shadows waiting for an opportunity to criticise.
How many of you and your twits are connected to our bitter and twisted ex business people who failed us for years and now resent the success of our owners. If only you had the guts to put your money where your mouth.

Isn’t the isssue not being told? As stated above I don’t see many people arguing with the charge. If you’re a first timer you wouldn’t know about previous years.

I think you’re bang on though that any excuse to moan is taken but isn’t that what this and any other forum allows people to do - moan as well as praise. It’s a small cross section of people that don’t represent the masses. Best to ignore and move on, isnt it? Regardless of how frustrating and eye rolling it is.

The issues I’ve read are of the lack of knowing what if any charge, why it wasn’t stated before people queued. If it’s not an issue, why not state the charge clearly at the time of price release, that’s what I’ve been hearing.
The Motorpoint price the ticket to include the fee, then there’s a small separate fee of £1.20 for admin, postage or collection.
