Hell of a difference in 2 nights, just need to keep this momentum going now. Hopefully it’s starting to come together now, but still missing bodies.
It's great to see our Team getting the goals also but helped a bit by Stojanovic's lack of game time before playing this game. Bednard has replaced him this period....from last night's performance he seems a solid goalie who has played a few pre-season games already.

Bownsy has put himself firmly in the #1 spot, with or without Mac's injury. He's been superb and it's great to see, he plays with calmness and no concern that he could lose his head.
Any news on Duke and Shinkaruk? Rested or niggles?

On the Cage, the Panthers' fans acknowledging the difference in their own goal tending between the two nights. Great our Guys scored so many goals earliet in the game....but can't get away from the fact that still couldn't score against Bednard when he came on in p3. You can bet, if he's fit, he'll be their goalie every time the Devils play the Panthers.

Great defensive performance. Bowns was solid but the forwards collapsing and clearing loose pucks played a big part in the scoreline.

Batch was outstanding and McWilliam is just class. As for Fournier we remember him as an offensive D-man but his defensive game looks like it has improved a lot.

Hockey gods smiled on us for 2 goals but the other 3 were well worked.

Enjoyed that far more than I thought I would. Also great to see a bumper crowd although charging full price was frankly annoying.

Whilst I can accept that the netminding wasn't the best for the Panthers, it certainly didn't change the result. Once we got the first 5 minutes out of the way there was only going to be one winner.

Have to say I thought Batchy was superb tonight, solid defensively and jumped into the play when needed. Donaghey too had a great game as did Mosey.

That was exactly how to beat a Danny Stewart team. Be responsible at the back, crisp passing and get the first goal. We executed it really well

Agree all round and interesting point about Fournier. I thought he wasn't great away at Sheffield so kept a close eye on him and he seems so much more solid defensively although my worry is that this is at the expense of the offensive plays. Whatever, he looked back to near his best tonight,

Think all the Brits have had a good preseason.
Gives Russell a problem. Does he have to leave one out every game Brit or import.
