Finished top point scorer for the entire ECHL this season !

70 games, 86 points !!!!

Wow!

If anyone remembers the old Heineken days, Mike Blaisdell’s son (Harrison) finished 26th with 58 points!

Very impressive. When here he was involved in all our offense under DuPont and PR - hence high point production. But he had defensive downside, and pointless icing time time again. If he has addressed those weaknesses then he has the whole package and good luck to him.

At the time of his leaving these shores I don't think it was that he wasn't wanted, but Fournier became available again - and the version of Fournier we had when he left would have been a bigger draw than Crawford. 71 points in 60 games in his last full season with us. We obviously never got that Fournier, thanks to PR.

I think it worked out for both parties - Crawford clearly enjoys playing back home, and we now (25/26) how have the best D corps I can remember.

Never a fan of Crawford myself, obviously put up the points but to me has was a cheap shot artist, would sucker punch opponents then turtle like a pussy. Never a fan of that kind of player and certainly didn’t miss him when he left.

Loved Crawford....an offensive talent and key player. I was prepared to overlook his defensive weaknesses and red mist moments. Rather like another complete maverick with a very high I.Q. who was frustrating at times, but loved at this Club, Andrew Hotham.

Congratulations to Crawford last season....that's an amazing output.

You can still appreciate the skills of other/ former players whilst being respectful and grateful for the excellent D corps we had last season....the core of which looks set for next season.

Plus defensively atrocious. I wouldn’t swap him with anyone from last year’s D core. If he was that good he’d be playing in a league far better than the ECHL

Totally agree, he never did it for me and as you say a lousy d man, would never compare him to Hotham though, he couldn’t hold a candle to Hoths.

Very good first season.

Second season, less goals scored and appeared to be to blame for a lot more goals conceded.

I'd have been disappointed if he had left after that first season but wasn't disappointed when he left the following summer.

Wouldn't replace him with any of our current D at the moment, but would love to have him back in the future at some point. Those are unbelievable numbers. I suspect he will have plenty of options of where to go next season.

We met Martin Lindman in the entrance of a nearby hospital and my wife had a conversation with him. A week or two later he made a point of finding her after a game to find out how she was doing! How cool is that!!
