Big Loss for Deeside Dragons but a lot of passion at times.

On another note - I was looking up the Team that Mike Prpich plays for at present. Okay I am not niave and appreciate that it is a beer league so to speak, however, you look at the player and Stats that Mike is capable of putting up and in particular in our league. Anyway.....If you look at the following players on his team they are putting up crazy stats, albeit in a low league but if you compare them to Mike's stats and take into account the player Mike is then would it be worth approaching one of these players?

The following are particularly notable and all are young:-

Cody Pettapiece
Rhett Kehoe
Eric Peterson

It's pretty easy to pluck names out of thin air off elite prospects from other leagues that would be notable signings. (It's my favourite thing to do...guilty), however don't under estimate the difference between playing in a semi-pro league to a professional league.

Tim Spencer plays in this league at present (Ex-Sheffield) and put up double the amount of goals he has anywhere else (http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=15340)

Also, Blair Dubyk was over a point a game in this league, but plays at NIHL 2 level in the UK (http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=67958) - this is one level above recreational hockey in the UK.
The difference between this type of league and any pro league is catastrophic.
On the subject of players in leagues that are well beneath them - look no further than Matty Davies, who's opted to play in the NIHL rather than our own EIHL (where he captained Manchester). He currently has 24 points in 5 games.

What a waste of a talent.

To add to this, I’d point towards our very own CJ. He’s ripping it up in Swindon...
