Currently 17 games, 6 wins, 35.3% win and highest PIM @244......

Their highest goal scorer has 5 in 13 games, the next player 4 goals in 14 games. Seems Lord has repeated himself in North America going for a defensive team just without the talent he had in net in Cardiff. Maybe the second repeat will be a spurt of energy in the last few months of the season........

The carousel of players leaving and joining at this level can't help consistency and chemistry either. Only need to look at Elite Prospects daily to see how many players leave and join teams in ECHL.

The Swamp Rabbits are in a better position this season than last so certainly progress but all those O/T losses have got to be frustrating for coaching team and players. Seem to remember a couple of seasons like that at the Devils but managed to turn around after a slow burn.

I always thought that Lord’s teams were too attacking if anything. But we all see things differently.

But in reference to where the Swamp Rabbits are in terms of win % etc, it’s probably worth remembering he isn’t coaching a team destined for trophies. Bar last season where they were mid table they’ve stunk the league out most seasons. They’re the ECHL equivalent of Dundee or Manchester, so he is probably doing as expected or maybe slightly better.

Exactly, will be such a different coaching challenge for him to have players leave and join every week, where as here he would start and finish the season with pretty much the exact same group of players. Much harder for him to put his stamp on the team I would imagine.

This is the longest points streak they have had in 20 years so Lord is doing something right. Just need to convert more O/Ts into wins and they will compete.

Cant quite believe how many player transfers there are in the Coast. There seems to be someone moving in to Greenville, out, up or sideways every day. And I dont think the coach has much input on the movements, it's more the big boys in the suites.

A loss for the Rabbits a 3 goal burst in the first period killed the game for lordo, finished with an empty netter 4...0..The 2 teams go again tonight/tomorrow ..prediction an OT win for Indy Fuel
