Live EIHL on Sky Sports?

From THF via the Cage, someone has spotted this in the TV planner for the opening EIHL weekend:

And it's also repeated several times over the week. Could be just a one off for the start of the season, but it could be a sign they are going to show Live games regularly!

Looking at the following weeks' schedules it appears its not a weekly thing as it returns to its Friday night and Saturday morning slot.

I've contacted sky and there's going to be another live game on sky sports 2 on friday September 22nd between Braehead vs Dundee, so I've sent them another asking if there will be anymore live games to be shown!

I have just messaged Dave Simms on face book and he replied telling me that sky are covering 8 Live games and 21 other games. Could not say which ones though !!!

Not surprising. Those are the closest arenas which can easily be setup for live broadcast.

Also, those are the teams that would have the biggest draw.

I was only jesting. I can't see it being quite that bad. Maybe just the 3 or 4 live Panthers - Steelers games...
