AS PART of the Brynglas Tunnels refurbishment project there will be a number of short weekend tunnel closures.
The first closure is scheduled to take place from 8pm Saturday, April 1 to 6am on Monday, April 3 and will be in effect on the M4 westbound carriageway from Junction 25a to Junction 26.
The closure will be restricted to the westbound carriageway only and will prevent traffic travelling through the westbound tunnel.
It will not affect traffic movement at Junctions 25a or 26. The closure will be clearly signposted and a designated diversion for all through traffic will be signed via the A48 (Southern Distributor Road) between Junctions 24 and 28.
