Bayley Harewood is on fire. He took a double hit got straight back up, had great visibility to see Shinkaruk was open, passed the puck to Shinkaruk for a goal.

I know he is going to be trying his damn hardest during these games but he has donr the same every season only this time he looks to be a heck of a lot quicker, much better in position, played some awesome passes and has also played very physical with the hits and willingness to drop the gloves. Think we need to seriously look at him closer in the future when it comes to covering roles etc.

I watched it late last night and I happen to agree with wannabe that the coverage was poor.
The point is and still stands is that he does very often complain about it but buys it again and again.
If you know what you’re getting is so bad that you’re going to be complaining on here asking for a refund, don’t buy it.
Next time watch the highlights and if it’s improved buy the next one or something similar.

I tend to be picky about opposition webcast but Giants always pull me in different directions
Visually I've never had cause to complain but the commentary ...............
In the main I watch Belfast for critical matches only

Yes I doubt the Giants and Keefe would have learnt anything from that game last night. A depleted, tired Cardiff Devils with their usual pairings and partnerships absent.

Absolutely, I reckon that was no use to anyone in terms of how we are going to play when the season starts. I have taken the red pill my mind has already blanked out that game... what were we talking about?

Bayley Harewood has to be in the Devils team this season. Absolute waste him being in the NIHL. If that’s at the expense of a current player or rotating them then so be it.

Absolutely spot on, this young man is part of our future and needs to be kept local, he certainly seems to be on the road to being a very good player. If he can keep his feet on the ground listen to people who know best, then he can be very successful, let’s hope that happens.

Who do you drop for him though?

Offensively he’s certainly getting their, but I’ve seen a couple of incidents during these pre-season games that the defensive part of the game still needs work.

I thought we were the slightly better team in the first period but penalties 2 from Brandt and one from MacDonald tired the team out and Belfast were faster and stronger thereafter. I didn't see Macs penalty but Brandt needs to learn only to fight people willing to fight. If you keep trying to start a fight and the other guy does nothing you are going to make your team shorthanded. I love Brandts physicality but he needs to be a bit more clever about how and when to choose his battles.
