Devils head over the sea to the O for a 'friendly' game against the Belfast Giants on Saturday night. This will be the first match up against a domestic rival to see where the team actually are. Giants have spent the off-season trying to capture the lightning in the bottle of their rampant form a couple of years ago so will be a good test for the Devils.

Belfast had the better of that period. Devils look tired and pressure led to the Belfast goal. Busch and Long had a fight. Long went off with a cut.
Brandt involved in a scuffle after the buzzer. Not much else to report
