To us it looked high. Any hit like that on one of your flair players should have the reaction shown by Louis. The instigator rule is awful for such situations. Neither referee called a penalty until Louis stepped in. Hogarth was awful all night - at least Pering had an ok game. The best one was in the 3rd period - he calls 2 mins elbow on Hedden - then thought it was Haddad - but after chatting to his linesman changed it to 2 min interference on Hedden. The linesmen kept losing the blue line all night calling offside when it wasn’t and not calling when it was offside.

And how the linesman called too many men on us when the puck hadn’t even reached the vacinity of the bench as he blew the whistle was a laugh. They had to have about 9 on the ice before the referee called too many men on Flames lol

Despite the officials that was such a good fast flowing physical game of hockey. The transition from D zone to O zone from both teams at times was breathtaking. We had the same nightmare start to the 3rd as on Wednesday and lasted until we scored; apart from that it was an awesome performance.

The Richardson to Linglet to Martin to Linglet to Martin goal was so so good.

What a result, well done guys!

Saw Linglet jogging round the arena to warm up yesterday morning, true professional.

Narrow loss against Nottingham prompts 9 pages of comments, with a largely negative and ctitical sentiment.

A great win away against flames - a fixture I believe we lost by about 5 or 6 goals last year and a very definite banana skin - 3 pages of comments.

Pity the fan base on here have such a negative focus. Similar to most sports forums, but doesn't make it right. And this is the reason the team don't read it!

Big game against clan later. Come on boys let's have 4 wins in 8 days!

We are in better shape than this time last year, and look what we did last year! Panthers losing to Steelers (in cup) is a further sign that they lack some consistency. 3 elite league titles in a row may never be matched or beaten. Let's make history!

^^^to be fair, the Panthers game was shown live on free to view TV for everyone to see. This game had no TV or webcast coverage and no highlights have been released as of yet.

Big game tonight against The Clan, come on boys let’s get this league campaign back in the win column .
