Can't fault the performance and the heart from the team tonight. Just when it looked like things were running away from them and all the odds were against them they pulled out the win.

Well played lads, it’s been awhile since we had a team with the grit and backbone to pull off a win when the odds were so stacked against us. To still be in this game going into the 3rd with so few players was one thing, but to win that game in the 60th minute, when it’s so much easier to give up the ghost shows what this squad is all about. So a huge thank you from us all, sleep well guys you certainly deserve it.
Happy Hockey Days

So proud of our boys tonight, couldn't have asked for any more from them. I really like our team this year, we've been so unlucky with injuries, but get back healthy and I think we will be something special.

Credit where it’s due, they got over last nights loss and despite missing injured players managed to grind out the win. The team showed character for sure !

Can we now stop with the "they don't care" comments after a loss. This shows they do care more then anyone. Time to stop the he's rubbish he needs to go comments and back this team to the hilt.
That result just showed the determination heart and soul these guys put in week in week out.
And sometimes it just doesn't go our way.
But we will all be there the next game shouting, hitting drums shouting on the megaphone to show are support .
Let's stick with this attitude 1 red army team some are just better on ice.

Literally not one post suggesting the players don’t care, that anyone is rubbish or that anyone needs to go. This post is way off the mark.

Paul Dixon in his interview made no reference to the fact we were without so many players. With others I expected them to capitalise in the third but they didn’t. An astonishing gutsy performance by our boys!

I’ve not seen one negative post so far on this thread so I’m not sure what on earth you’re referring to?

Seen his interview and he did say we got some great players and he said we will win trophy's. He also said changes at his gaff....think one or 2 out the door. I've not seen much of coughler s efforts being highlighted at their gaff maybe he is 1 going out the door. Keep an eye out todd ideal injury reserve ..I know we need 7 but that would be a start ..

I dont think Kristian is referring to anything said in this thread, but it has been a recurring theme on previous threads
Not this thread but when we do lose 2 or 3 on the bounce can we remember lastnight.
That was all I was trying to put across.
It sounded better in my head when writing it. Sometimes a message comes across a little different to what I was trying to say.

Being honest in our appraisal of team/individual is important, also being respectful of comments we may use is also important..
We as die hard fans whom some of us have many years of following this great club get hurt and disappointed when we see what we persieve as less than all out effort from the guys representing our club.
A lot of the time this can occur because of lack of knowledge that player X could be carrying an injury rather than a lack of effort. In this sport I personally believe that we have very few players who don't earn their wages week in week out and due consideration should be given to this and when being critical it's something we should all bear in mind. Highlighting a player's lack of awareness or positioning or even a sheer lack of professionalism can imo be mentioned whilst still being respectful to that player, slagging off and name calling is a no no from me though.
