I can't remember it before. I've seen sticks thrown and people getting bans. But helmets!? I wouldn't like too guess. He plays caps so can't play his panther/giant/squeeler card either

Without doubt it will be a lengthy ban but the moaning of Panthers fans is getting a little tiresome...... With some notable exceptions they were defending him when he played for them!

Stupid thing(s) to do and likely to sit for 6-8 I would guess, although given the fact that Caps fans think the DOPs is biased against them, it will probably be 10....

As for throwing things on brawls....wasn't Jeff Brown once banned for that after an end of season brawl versus Blaze?

Adam Henrich was banned for one game for throwing his helmet at Grimaldi after he ran away to the bench following his attack on Henrich whist two other Panthers held Henrich during the handshakes. Young Matt Selby chased him off the ice if I remember correctly!
