I don’t think you can blame him for trying something different. He knew the Devils were playing at another level last night and you try to do whatever you can to potentially put them off their game. It didn’t work last night and Louis dished out a beating to Springer but I was expecting much more of that kind of stuff when it’s was 2-0, 3-0. When the Devils play like that, they are head and shoulders above any other team in the UK, including the Giants. It was a superb and in many ways, complete performance. Saying that, I’d rather avoid Manchester in the play-offs though, if they make it - as that team is tough to play against in their barn.
