Of course hoping Fournier comes good and I think he will soon. But when Crawford or Fournier was discussed in the off season, some thought Fournier would slip right back to the player he was last time.
He's clearly a different player to his last stint. Last time he was young, raw, had freedom to do his thing. Looks like a few years away that has been coached out of him. We haven't seen hardly any of his speed and him skating forward with the puck.
On the other side of the coin, he looks more defensively sound this time round, and the whole defensive unit does compared to last year. We haven't been getting the points from back there that we have been getting, but hopefully the improves forward units will make up for those.

Think it will be better when the corner pieces on the screen are put in ..the speakers were vibrating a lot last night on certain music but not all the time...they will sort it I'm sure
Pre season games are to shake down all off-ice as well as players etc so surprised it wasn't picked up earlier (only my 2nd game this season).
Hopefully sorted out by Friday.
Also. I fancied a sausage roll last night, £4 !!!!! No, just the one. I said

I have been really impressed Fourniers defensive play. He uses his silky skating skills to make space and give some good quality passes. I think we will see a lot of assists from him this season. I think the days of skating through defence like a knife through butter have gone as the league has improved a lot.

That's how I see him. I wasn't sure about him during pre-season but when the real stuff has started he has been excellent. I watched him very carefully against Manchester and I think you are spot on. His passing is light years better than his last stint, he is seeing the ice so well. The downside is that he is not now the player who will go coast to coast on a regular basis but..... with the change in the league and our far more 'd first' attitude, the attributes he is showing are very useful indeed.

Two advantages to the Nottingham type plastic pot:
1. It is nice and steady in your hand
2. If there is a payment for it there is every chance fans will take it home ,wash it, and bring it back next time instead of littering the floor . (and producing waste)

In defense of the pasties, they’re not the cheapest but it’s by far the best pasty I’ve ever had!
Maybe we (as a collective of Inferno members) could chip in for a train ticket for Devlass to go to Cornwall (or maybe Devon) so he/she could have a decent pasty!
