Yeah not good. Always seems to be the way. Not the same as the highlights package but the whole match night production last night was farcical. Music not coming through the speakers, no music during breaks of play. Goal replays not happening, missed the “all the small things” sing along and just a relentless mission to try and get everyone spectator on camera during breaks in play - massively annoying. Probably just teething issues

Not the best of games but we got the win. Defensively we look so much better this season and thats not just down to the improved D men. Bowns was also solid once again. Up front Russell seems to be trying out lots of different combinations but Shinkaruk, Olefschki and Barrow did not work for me. I wonder if the challenge with Shinkaruk will be similar to Kurka a few years back. Players who are just a level above everyone else but hard to find linemates who are on the same wavelength.
I think if Russell can find the right combination for Shinkaruk he will be a real force in this league.

I don’t even bother watching the highlights anymore, they’re among the worst in the league.

I tend to pick one of the other teams who offer extended (15mins) highlights and watch them instead.
I agree and find it really strange when you consider the affiliation with Cardiff Met and all their sports courses including broadcasting and media.
Big gap there.

and what about the re-starts???? I've seen rugby scrums get set and get the ball in play faster than the lino was dropping the puck last night. Would love to know from their perspective, what they are waiting for.

If someone don’t want fights or big hits on the highlights footage as it’s a family sport, then why is it shown on the big screen for the opening video of the games. Plus other teams show them, don’t make a lot of sense to me.

I suppose there must be some feedback from data on YT or social media that shows the shorter highlights get more interactions on their social media channels....which is what they are for - money generation, rather than for fans.

I'd like a compromise between the current 'goals and saves only' approach to also adding in some controversial hits etc - we do get fights don't we in highlights, but not roughing usually unless it's handbags after a save.

But I wouldn't want the 20/30mins that some other clubs produce.

I'd love a Match of the Day equivalent on a Monday night

Only Fife come beneath us in the highlights package league table. Which is a real shame. As said above, more varied range of plays instead of just goals and chances to tell the story of the game is needed. But also, do we own just one camera? How hard is it to put a go pro behind the goal, get a few different angles.
Highlights always get released fairly quickly which is a plus, but I would prefer them to take longer to prepare and be a better package.
