Either Manchester are under covid protocols or they are not. Surely if they are not - there must be a good reason not to travel. The lack of information is puzzling.
In fairness it does say more information to follow so not really lack of information just yet... A complete guess but maybe some of the Manchester Players have symptoms or a family member of a player has had a positive LFT and they are waiting for confirmation of PCR?

I wouldn't be at all suprised if it's to do with travelling expenses for storm rather than covid. Pure speculation of course but if the season gets cancelled in the new year do some teams really want to be laying out the expenses of travelling now? Either way it's all up in the air and getting farcical now.

Storm have a bus with their logos on it and would have a contract with the company for the season, the Coach and driver would still have to be paid, the players are paid anyway. The league wouldn’t allow them to cancel a game at the drop of a hat to save travel expenses, hopefully all will be revealed shortly.

Credit to Blaze for doing this at such short notice. Great to see the league pulling together. Surely we should beat a team that wont have prepared fully for this fixture. Surely.....surely!!!!

Blaze were meant to be playing Fife tonight so they will have trained etc

Agreed but completely different to playing us. They were probably expecting a tough game against Fife but now they have us (joke)! You plan your game for your opponent, that last minute change isn’t ideal for them.

Agreed, it’s not ideal for them, but in the same way, we prepared for Manchester and are now playing Coventry with the same amount of notice. Both clubs are in the same boat.

There’s some rumblings coming from the Blaze fans as those who had paid for the 27th have had emails saying there’s no refunds but a credit note for a future game, then a couple of hours later get to hear that one of the future games they could have moved their ticket to is to be played tonight.
Not ideal for them, but given the situation, I guess we all need to pull together to get through.
Pretty sure we are still without Broll and Thompson is injured so we will be playing short benched.
