As has been mentioned in a number of places on social media including in a recent IceTime.tv discussion. Our most pressing issue as far as recruiting for the next season is getting a player to replace Sean Bentivoglio. Obviously replacing a player with such a winning pedigree on the ice is important and difficult task, but an equally pressing problem is replacing him in our most loudly and frequently sung song(s). I have taken the liberty of looking across Elite Prospects to identify some initial prospects to take this key role in these important lyrics and have identified a number of possible contenders. I fully expect Mr Lord, Mr Kellman and Mr King to be fully in the swing of identifying potential candidates for this important role and look forward to a signing announcement in the near future. The artists formerly known as Block 13 will need time to prepare their lyrical alterations for the new season after all...

Maybe should be looking closer to home at this rate with Travel, Luke Ferrara, Brandon Whistle, Aaron Nell.

May be out of our hands where we recruit from if players don't want to come to UK, we can offer all these top players contracts but if they think the UK is a risk they may stay away. Could be searching EIHL and NIHL UK based players.

Of course this is in the case of worst scenario but lets hope it doesn't come to that.

There are literally hundreds of foreign players who will be hunting contracts. The AHL downwards in NA is in the same boat as UK right now, unclear what will happen in a few months. There will be a maximum limit on rosters at any European clubs, and probably many European countries with sports restrictions and Covid protocols. Players will be looking for contracts. If the season here goes ahead this year, the only major recruitment issues could be around the status of MBA courses and also the quality/'right fit' of player available.

I think that some might be missing the tongue in cheek context of the original post. That said, I have completed confidence in our leadership group to get the right squad together. Personally I'd favour getting done more finnish players in the team just to mess with adey and Murphy. On a more serious note, as I've said before, I'd love to get sointu back in the team.

I agree with all of the points in this post. I was very impressed how swiftly Sointu adapted to work with our squad and both CHL and Elite League styles. Now if he changed his surname to Sointio (by deed poll) he would also fit into the song just as well.

With that in mind, here are the players listed by GB country that rhyme with Bentivoglio (as listed on Elite Prospects). Josh is the only one that I was aware of before this search and I am not sure if he would want to leave the Panthers or be a fit for our D corps.

England
Joshua Tetlow (D)
Louis Chabot (F)
Ben Lowe (F)
Morgan Pizzo (F)
Taylor Romeo (F)

UK
Oliver Federico (F)
Joe Adebayo (F)
Callum Fernando (F)

Wales
Ben Roscoe (F)

Scotland
Tony Ho (F)

Northern Ireland
Oliver Costello (F)

Republic of Ireland
none

P.S. some of these players would be better suited to Junior Devils programs.
