Gutted for Bownsy. If I was a Clan fan I’d feel a bit short changed by that. Biggest team I’ve seen for a while. They’ve got everything. Skill, speed and big guys. They finished a few checks but they didn’t dominate physically. Superb game by Ritchie, Mosey and Batch.
Barrow and Busch are standouts right now. Relentless.

glasgow have a good forward core, just don’t think there D is good enough. Very slow in my opinion
They definitely looked less mobile than before. Say what you like about Sol over the past few seasons but the guy was solid and moved well and carried the puck effectively out of the zone. They looked a little bit on their heels last night.

Good to have a few things go our way last night with some calls. We got lucky with the third goal as the net was off its moorings for the entire phase of play. The ref and lino had numerous opportunities to whistle the play down and reset the net but no one spotted it.

I think they did spot it but it was the Clan who took it off its moorings (I think.... trying to remember the passage of play) hence play would continue. The puck would have definitely gone into the net if it had been on its moorings so....... as with the Coventry game the previous week, I think the officials were correct here.

I don't disagree at all but other refs would blow and put the net back on the moorings.

Zach O’Brien is starting to look like a proper X factor player. If he can make some of these assists in clutch situations in top of the table clashes he could be a real difference maker. Hell of a player.
Nobody seems to talk about O'Brien probably because he is not flashy. But he is real smart hockey player. 5 points in 3 games for both league and CC shows that he is going to be an important player this season.

Good character win this - not an easy place to go after a sluggish performance in the first 30 mins against Storm and 4 imports down after a long old road trip.

Agree on Z O’B - I can imagine opposition scouting department won’t be as quiet about him though, that’s for sure! Makes Hockey look so effortless!
