Mac is a professional athlete and he's an out standing goalie but he's still a human being with feelings are we really now drawing lines where it's acceptable to berate and throw profanites at someone so long as the person doing it doesn't get their feelings hurt? On that night he reached his limit. He's clearly reacted in a way he wouldn’t normally.

Actions have consequences for the girl, for Mac and the club.

The club have acted. There will be a statement. He regrets his actions.

Just as "concerning" is that some posters (not necessarily on this forum) think it’s ok to swear and make abusive gestures towards Carruth just because the offending person is 13 yrs old, allegedly.
Any such action whether made by a 13 yr old or an adult may be considered as a Breach of the Peace or actions Likely to cause a Breach of the Peace.

If you or I were reported of such actions at a hockey game we would rightly expect repurcussions, whether that be ejection from the arena and or a ban from future attendance.

Speaking in general terms, in the times we live in there has been a general breakdown in society and anti-social behaviour has almost become the norm, not all 13yr olds are little angels!
