This Sunday at the Cardiff Bay Arena the Cardiff ENL Devils take on title favourites the Chelmsford Chieftains.

Chelmsford finished 3rd last term behind the Devils but have recruited very well to their already talented young team. With money to spend they have signed big names from the EPL in a bid to better the 3rd place from last season. Pro hockey news has the Chieftains as title favourites.
The Devils team won 2 and drew one at the tent last year, the tough hard hitting Devils will relish this challenge in what promises to be a thrilling encounter

Tickets are £5 on the door Kids and Elite season tickets holders £2.50 and all DCF members get free entry to the game. Face off is 7pm and doors open at 6pm

Having lost the last three matches this weekend is going to be a tough one. Invicta away on Saturday and then the Chieftans on Sunday. We have to come away from these games with points and hopefully get into a winning momentum for the season.

The guys have to stop the chieftains (who have had a late start to the season) assault on the league! :twisted:

Don't know if anybodys out for us. Saying that didn't see Cowmeadow last week and can't remember seeing Manny either? We must have been down though cos Ben Smith was "suited and booted".
No news on the CC's site so presume they're at full strength.

What a game! 2-2 edge of the seat stuff. If CC thought that this game was for the taking how wrong they were.
Fair play to the Devils they pulled it together for this one and probabaly feel they should have won it. The guys played at a higher tempo, which obviously suits them, made less errors and kept the penalties down.
In the opening 1st period the guys were pinned back into their own zone but good defensive play denied CC and after taking the first goal felt as though the opposition lost their composure and made silly mistakes. CC drew level in the 2nd which set it up nicely for a nail biting 3rd period.
All round much much better display than of late and a game which the Devils can certainly build on! A deserved mom for Luke Piggott for taking both goals.

COME ON YOU DEVILS!!!!
