Interesting fact, Stephen Dixon and Chris Culligan were teammates in Culli's 16 year old rookie season with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. Dixon was Eagles' team captain that season as Culli was 4 year's later.

According to the article on Dai Sport the Devils were due to announce a North American signing today. Could it be that the deal has fallen through and the Devils were holding back the Piggot announcement just in case this happened.? If these last two players are top quality like we are led to believe it's quite possible a better deal was offered to him somewhere else.

happy with that. with all the changes behind the scenes i would genuinely been gutted to lose piggsy. i still think he should play some games to rest up the other brits and too be honest on form at times earlier last year he deserved to play ahead of some of the imports!! great character, real 100% character .
