Surprises me that they struggle season after season with such a large catchment area and decent (albeit now fading) history. I remember the good old days when they had a really strong team and good sponsorship from Smirnoff - that now seems a lifetime ago.

Hope they manage to survive.

I hope they survive also but it’s a disgrace that every year it’s the same .. they sign a half decent team compete and win a good few then start releasing players and losing big time it’s not fair on the players and not fair on the league

You also forgot to mention it's not fair to their fans, all 15 of them...

What does the league do about this? Naff all I imagine. That's the biggest discrace and one of the big reasons the EIHL is considered by those abroad as a Mickey mouse league because of the self serving, short sighted views taken by those running this farce.
