I see from the MNL tonight that Alan Keating has died.
Father of Devil Simon Keating and did massive work with the Junior Devils

The world just lost one beautiful human being, and is poorer for it. Alan was a real Mans Man, it was a privilege to have known this lovely man, Alan your awesome personality lives on in your amazing son Simon, I have known this young man since he was a lad, and I would be proud to call him my son. RIP my friend.

I have know the keatings for years and was lucky enough to work with Alan through many hockey teams over the years ,Simon is one of my best mates ,as wannabe says Alan was a mans man and it was a joy being around him during those times ,he was always full of fun and every lad on the team loved him as he was always laughing and smiling ,I was saddened and upset when I heard of his passing last week and feel for them all as I know how close they are ,"Flanders" you are already missed and I am lucky to have known you and spent so many good times with you RIP AL !..Sleep well
