Bordy was suckered from blaze bench so it wasn't a case of him going after Hicks more bumping into him accidentally. Funny enough DOPES did nothing about that

Bordeleau thrown out of the game by the wonderful Dean Smith. Not before he absolutely battered Adam Keefe it has to be said, but thrown out for a 'check to the head' nonetheless...

Another Dean Smith Special or Mystery call where no initial penalty call or signal was made but after an apparent Officials Conference, and possibly an opponent coach's display of outrage Bordeleau ends up getting 5 for a check to the head and a game penalty.
Higgins doesn't seem to have been injured by the mysterious check to the head and continued playing.?????

Yes Devils! Despite desperate attempts by DOPS, Dean Smith and the odious Walser, we win 5-1 on the night and 9-6 on aggregate. Now that's what you call character! Brilliant stuff.

Well played Devils, a stunning performance. Dominated the first two periods and controlled the third. I was critical of Bowns last week but he played great tonight, as did the whole team, bar none.
CC Final, here we come!!
Oh and a message to the EIHL, EIHL DOPS, Derek Walser and Dean Smith - up yours!

Tough call on Bordy. I can see why he called but he's really got no alternatively given the height difference.
What a performance. Well done boys. They needed to step up with the two key players being out and didn't they just do that. Superb.
Louis...... Epic! Richardson.... superb..... great team effort.

Smith was unbelievably bad AGAIN!!!

So happy we've made the final for a 3rd year running & ecstatic that I pre booked 2 tickets for it!!!

What a fantastic result.

To beat the Belfast Giants 5-1 in their own arena is quite an achievement, but to do it in the second leg of a semi final is truly awesome.

Mark Louis - one hell of a perfirmance from him tonight.

Challenge Cup Final here we come ! (again)

Just WOW. Absolutely outstanding, epic performance by the Devils. Another chapter in awesome comebacks.

Over the moon for them - they played angry, they played ruthless and they showed why they deserve to be top.

Shortbenched, banged up with injuries, down but never out. And our Guys put down some massive markers tonight.

The sound of Giants' fans booing and Walser crying will never be as big as the pride of the Devils' Organisation and their fans tonight.

Safe journey home for the Devils...tonigh's mission accomplished.

Well only one thing to say to our Celtic Cousins, hard shit tossers, you met the real Cardiff Devils tonight, and guess what you couldn't hold a candle to them, even with Paddy O'Smith refereeing. Two imports down to try to give you a helping hand, a ref that spec savers even gave up on, a bloody Cyclops could see more. Well played lads, that's why you are league leaders, and showed these Micks why they are second best. Enjoy your evening you deserve it you beauties, it's a great time to be a Devils fan.
