Back on home ice after three games away, Devils welcome the Blaze for some Challenge Cup action. I believe our advancement to the next round is still in our hands but we need to be sure of getting the points to keep it that way
Looksike a toss up between us and Storm to join Clan as team s not to progress to knock out stage. Win would be preferable but if not, require panties & squealers to beat storm.
Good point, those OTLs help out. what's the next tiebreaker, if it is regulation wins then assuming a win versus Cov, Storm can't overhaul us, if goal difference then they need a seven goal swing
Regulation wins
Total game won then
Fewest regulation losses
Then
Using away games: – points won, games won in regulation time, all games won (regulation time/overtime/penalties), in that order of priority.

Quarter-Finals
Group winners are seeded according to their points percentage in the group stage. The Quarter-Finals will then be played as follows: 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6, 4 vs. 5.
IF, we get through the group stage we may as well play Belfast in a "home and away" QF rather than a one off midweek "away" game in the final like last year!

Wouldn't write off the Storm against Panthers. Nottingham have struggled to find consistency. Don't know if Dubeau, their no1 goalie, is still suspended.
