Just to clarify tonights game is a LEAGUE fixture. The 2nd leg of the CC 1/4 final is next wednesday, where Chris will bring you our coverage of that game.

Evening all. Its almost gametime. Tonight is a big psychological marker for the Devils if they win tonight, ahead of their CC 1/4 2nd leg next wednesday, against the same opponents.

Devils news is that Crowder took full part in the warm up and is kitted out for the game. Paris and Batch are scratches tonight. Lord is on Bench duty.

One prediction thus far from David Rees who sees it as a close game with the Devils winning 5-4 in OT

Ben Davies is getting some good natured 'stick' from the assembled masses of the Red Army. 'get your hair cut' has been heard to be shouted.

As far as I am aware there is no webcast available tonight but no doubt I will be corrected on this.

A further prediction comes from Rob Batch, who predicts a 4-1 win for the Devils.

Cenwyn says: the Devils are playing a good road game by keeping the Flames wide to the outside. Whilst the Devils have created some great chances, we still have a few gears to go through before they are really firing. Having Louis on the blue line, the D looks very solid. Reddick is limiting his forays forward which is great discipline. The Devils probably deserve to be 3 or 4 up. Ben Davies is keeling over at the slightest touch. Refs are letting the game flow which is great to see.

Cenwyn says: Devils came out very flat, content to allow the Flames time in their end zone. They created a few decent chances which Bowns was equal to, making a great couple of saves. He then couldnt keep a cross crease pass from going through his 5 hole. To be honest the goal was coming. Devils stepped up their pace some and forced Stewart into making some saves. Apart from the first 8 mins of 2nd we deserve to be ahead and not level

he goes on to say that we need to pepper Stewart with shots and get some traffic in front of him aka Myers and get Faryna Asselin and Benti to pounce on any rebounds

Ulmer forced stewart into an amazing save but we need to really push and pressurize Stewart where we can. Cenwyn says if he were a betting man he'd reckon on it finishing 3-2 to Devils

Jon says 1:1 is a fair reflection of the game. Flames hustled the Devils that period and they struggled to keep possesion. He also has no idea of the SOGs
