I have to agree with Nigel here "Looks like Dean Smith got inconsistency pills off Mike Hicks for his Christmas present. The Elite League's best ref is having a bad day at the office. He's letting the Blaze get away with petty much what they want. Immediately before the too many men call, Tanaka charged straight through a Devils numbers right by the Devils bench - nothing called for the check from behind, instead he calls foyer too many men. He also missed the assault on Phil Cook - pity really considering it's his job to watch the game!!"
